The payment order (monitorio) procedure allows claiming matured, liquid and enforceable monetary debts without ordinary trial. No amount limit since 2009. If the debtor does not oppose within 20 days, automatic enforcement is ordered. Opposition triggers verbal or ordinary trial depending on amount.
