Good faith

General legal principle requiring honest and loyal conduct. In civil law, contractual good faith requires honest contract performance and prohibits abusive exercise of rights. Whoever alleges bad faith must prove it. Foundation of pacta sunt servanda and protection of the bona fide registered party (Art. 34 LH).
