Delete your Lexiel account and data

Last updated: 20 October 2026

You can ask us at any time to delete your Lexiel account and the data linked to it (GDPR art. 17). Lexiel is a service of Codelabs Studio, S.L., based in Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga, Spain). This page explains the three ways to do it and what happens next.

From the mobile app (iOS and Android)

  • Open the Lexiel app and sign in.
  • Go to Settings and find the “Privacy and security” section (shown in Spanish as “Privacidad y seguridad”).
  • Tap “Eliminar cuenta” (Delete account, in red). The “Darte de baja” (Leaving Lexiel) page opens.
  • Follow the steps and confirm the deletion. You will get a confirmation email.

From the web

  • Sign in at app.lexiel.ai.
  • Open Settings and scroll to the “Danger zone”.
  • Click “Delete account” (or “Delete organization” if your account belongs to a firm) and confirm. Requesting it signs you out on every device.
  • Only the account owner can delete it. If you are a member of a firm, you can leave from the same section; deleting the whole firm is decided by its owner.

By email

If you cannot sign in, write to hola@lexiel.ai from the address you registered with and say that you want your account deleted. We may ask you to confirm your identity before erasing anything.

Timeline

When you request deletion you get a 30 day grace period to change your mind: until then you can cancel the deletion from Settings (“Cancel deletion” button) and get your account back exactly as it was. After that the deletion is final and cannot be undone. If you ask by email, we reply within 30 calendar days.

What is deleted

  • Your account and registration data (name, email address, firm name).
  • Cases, uploaded documents, clients, deadlines and notes.
  • Conversations and query history with the assistant.
  • Firm users and their preferences, and bar-membership verification data.

What is kept, and for how long

  • Billing data (the invoices Lexiel issued to you and the related tax data): 6 years, under Spanish tax law. It is used only to meet that obligation.
  • Technical security logs: 90 days, then deleted.

Before you delete

If you need to keep your data, download it first from Settings (backup and list exports). Your firm is the controller of its clients’ data: also download the invoices you issued to your clients, because they are deleted with the organization. If you have a paid subscription, cancel it first so it does not renew.
