BOE alerts tied to your cases: which legislative change affects which matter

Lexiel filters the BOE every working day by your keywords and areas of law and links each change to your active cases. How to set it up.

The BOE publishes every day and almost nothing it publishes affects you. The problem is the "almost": a procedural reform or a change in an applicable rate that touches three of your cases, and you only learn it exists when the other side cites it.

Reading the summary every morning is not a good use of your time, and subscribing to a generic newsletter gives you noise.

How Lexiel solves it, step by step

Lexiel does the filtering for you and ties it to what you already have open.

  1. Open BOE alerts and switch alerts on. You will get an email when the BOE publishes something relevant.
  2. Add your keywords (for example "urban lease", "shared custody", "unfair dismissal" or "inheritance") and choose the areas of law: civil, employment, family, criminal, commercial, tax, administrative litigation, immigration, property or administrative. With no selection, all are watched.
  3. Every working day the BOE is checked and alerts appear on screen, linked to your active cases.
  4. Switch on the weekly summary if you want a Monday summary of active cases, hours and BOE alerts for the week.

What it does not do

  • It does not interpret the reform or decide how it affects a case: it tells you there is something to look at and links it to your cases.
  • It only covers what is published in the BOE: it does not watch regional gazettes or resolutions from other bodies.
