Temporary layoff (ERTE)

Temporary suspension of contracts or reduction of working hours on ETOP or force majeure grounds. Workers access unemployment benefit even without meeting the minimum contribution period. SEPE pays directly; the company may receive exemption from contributions. Distinct from ERE (permanent termination).
