Meeting and recording conditions

Last updated: 4 November 2026

Version 2026-11-04c.

1. In short

Your meeting with the firm is recorded only as a reference of that meeting for your lawyer and their firm. It is not used for anything else. If you would rather it were not recorded, it is not recorded and the meeting goes ahead as usual.

2. What is recorded and why

The audio of the meeting is recorded and, on a video call, the picture too. The recording is transcribed and analysed with artificial intelligence to prepare the notes, summary and tasks of the meeting, which your lawyer reviews.

What you say may include health data or other specially protected data. By accepting, you expressly consent to it being processed for this purpose only.

3. What it is not used for

  • It is not used for advertising.
  • It is not used to train artificial intelligence models.
  • It is not handed to third parties, except the processors in section 5 and where the law requires it.

The recording is covered by the legal profession's duty of secrecy (article 22.3 of the General Statute of the Spanish Legal Profession).

4. Who is responsible

The controller of the recording is the firm you are meeting. Codelabs Studio, S.L. (tax ID B88708797), owner of Lexiel, registered at Pasaje Federico García Lorca, 6, 3º E, 29130 Alhaurín de la Torre (Málaga), Spain, processes it on the firm's behalf as a processor.

5. Processors

ProcessorWhat it doesWhere
Hetzner Online GmbHServerEU (Germany)
Cloudflare R2Storage of the recording (audio and, on a video call, the picture)EU

6. How long it is kept

The recording and its transcript are kept while the firm needs them for your matter and, after that, only for as long as it must keep them to deal with possible claims. There is no automatic deletion on a fixed date: you can ask the firm to delete them at any time.

7. Your decision

Accepting is voluntary. If you choose "I would rather this meeting were not recorded", nothing is recorded and your lawyer will see it. The meeting takes place as usual; the only difference is that there will be no automatic transcript or summary.

Your decision applies to the meetings on that matter with the firm until you change it. You can change it whenever you like, including during the meeting: just tell your lawyer. If someone comes with you, they must accept these conditions too for the meeting to be recorded.

8. Your rights

You can access your data, rectify it, erase it, object to its processing, restrict it, ask for its portability and withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting what was processed before. Exercise these rights with the firm. If you write to us at hola@lexiel.ai, we will pass your request on to the firm. You can also complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es).

9. What we record about your decision

We keep who made it, when, from which IP address and which version of these conditions they saw, as proof of your decision.
