Requesting documents from clients by link: upload, review and automatic reminders

A document list by link, upload by the client, review with a rejection reason and reminders every 12 hours. How it works in Lexiel.

Chasing documents is one of the most repetitive and worst-paid tasks in a firm: the missing ID, the certificate that never arrives, the contract in a crooked photo. Each exchange is three emails and a "I will send it tomorrow".

And the case does not move until the last piece arrives, so the bottleneck is not legal: it is follow-up.

How Lexiel solves it, step by step

Lexiel turns that chase into a request with a link and a status.

Document requests screen with status, documents received and each client's last access

  1. Create a document request and choose which documents to ask for.
  2. The client receives a public link, with no account needed, and uploads each file from there.
  3. You review what arrived: you can approve or reject with a reason so they know what to fix.
  4. Lexiel sends reminders every 12 hours, up to five, and the Requests screen shows the status (pending, in progress, completed, approved, expired), documents received (for example 1/3), the due date and the client's last access.
  5. Press Remind all if you want to chase every open request at once.

What it does not do

  • It does not validate the quality of what the client uploads: it does not detect an unreadable ID or an expired certificate by itself. You do that review.
  • It does not automatically notify "case complete".
  • Requests arrive by link; the incoming WhatsApp channel is not implemented.

No, they access with the request link.

Are there document lists by type of case?

There are templates per procedure with the required documents; today there are 7, and only 2 have guided intake by blocks.
