Unfair dismissal (Art. 56 ET): 33 days of salary per year worked, up to a maximum of 24 monthly salaries (720 days). For contracts prior to 12/02/2012, pre-reform days are calculated at 45 days/year.

Objective/fair dismissal (Art. 52-53 ET): 20 days of salary per year worked, up to a maximum of 12 monthly salaries (360 days). Applies to economic, technical, organisational or production grounds.

Final settlement: In addition to severance, the employee is entitled to unused vacation pay, pro-rated bonuses, and outstanding salary for the current month.

FOGASA: In case of company insolvency, the Wage Guarantee Fund covers up to 120 days of severance (unfair dismissal) or 60 days (objective dismissal).
